The ASSL direction wishes to transmit to you an update one the impact of the current pandemic, Cvid-19, on our current activities and the planning fo the summer season which is set to start in mid-April.
For the winter season, all activities are stopped following the decision made by Soccer Canada to suspended all soccer activities in Canada until further notice. We are in communication with provincial and regional bodies (Association Régional de Soccer de la Rive-Sud, Soccer Québec, Soccer Canada), as well as with the city of Saint-Lambert and our various training centres to monitor the evolution of the situation. We will communicate to you other updates as soon as we will have more details.
For the summer season, the preparation is still going through normally for now. We invite you to register as of now : https://www.assl.ca/en/page/summer_registration_2020.html
It is important for us to follow through with our planifications in order to welcome and structure our players as soon as activities restart. Here are two measures which will be modified to allow you to register:
- Payment by check available while registration online : You can complete you registration or that of your child and wait before making the payment until we have confirmation of the start of our activities.
- Limit date for registration without penalty : The cut off date for penalty free registration fees has been push from March 15th to April 15th.
In front of the new reality which is imposed on us, the technical team of the ASSL will put online, in the coming days, some video capsules via its social networks which will promote physical activity. Keeping fit and morale is important! Since the closure of the recreation center deprives us of access to our offices, we ask you to prioritize email communication with our administrative team working from home.
